Poem: Springtime by Dolly

Tiny buds on tiny trees,
Tiny flowers,  tiny leaves,
In my garden life awakes,
I sit outside without a care,
The breeze whispers as it moves my hair,
I rest and feel the sun at last,
No more dark shadows  winter casts.

The birds all sing in sheer delight,
An end to hardship now in sight,
Another winter we've survived,
M. E.  has not dimmed our light,
Our hearts still strong,  our spirits bright,
Renewed our strength to bear our plight.
